Litback, Evana and Rebecca were standing side by side in battle once. Brothers and sisters close to eachover, snarling at the enemy, all as wounded as the one standing next to them. They were fighting alone, against a whole pride. They were strong enough to hold them off. What they didn't know was that the enemy had done something. Something unexplainable which was making them hate eachover more and more. Soon there was three alliances in the valley. White backs were the most light in the valley, believing in truth and happiness. Their lead was Rebecca. Grey backs were in the middle between light and dark. Pretty much normal. They could be fiesty one time, and angelic the next; they were lead by Litback. The last and darkest allaince was the black backs. They were run by Evana. A curse had fallen upon her the day she killed the enemy. It turned her evil. The splitting of alliances was not the only problem. Human kind had found the valley; and life was more dangerous then ever.

Ah, the lands of the whitebacks, a place that was serene as it was quiet. The only sound that persisted was the annoying buzz of insects in the grass. The buzzing, and the steady sound of large paws walking. Thump.Thump.Thump.Thump. Those paws were going in no particular direction, and perhaps you can say they were meandering aimlessly. Those paws belonged to a rather large male lion by the name of Arieh. The golden pelted beast traveled alone, with only scars to remind him of his past. He didn't have a stunning pride of lionesses to follow behind him and hunt for him. Rather, he was all alone. Arieh wandered through the lands, small curved ears perked to attention.
Yet, there was only the sound of his poised and regal walk and of course the bugs.As the beast walked, he gave a heavy sigh. His large frame moved effortlessly through the grasses and his lime green eyes scanned the horizon. Still the only signs of life were himself. This was a good sign. Now don't get me wrong, Arieh is a caring creature that loves to socialize, but in an unknown land, a rogue male stands little chance alone.
The large male spotted a large boulder in his path and clambered on top. Standing there allowed a shallow breeze to ruffle his darkly colored mane. Closing his eyes, the creature dreamed of making this place his own. There were no smells of others around, which meant the territory was vacant. Also, off a little to the west, a small reservoir of water would be good enough for a pride. The golden male opened his eyes and realized his dream could come true. He could finally be the reigning authority of his own land, in this very spot, it was perfect. No more would be overshadowed by Kiro and disgraced infront of all his family. Arieh could imagine it as his stood there on a simple rock. He would lead a pride. Now was the perfect opportunity.
Taking in a deep breath, the beast let out a roar, and a couple miles away, a flock of birds scattered into the skies.Arieh's roar said"These lands are claimed to the Jelani pride with King Arieh as its leader. Any challengers will be persecuted and disposed of at once.As long as my blood runs through the generations of the pride, so shall it remain in Jelani's care." Arieh looked over his work and smiled with satisfaction,he couldn't wait for Jelani to grow and prosper. ____________________
Land Name: Jelani Grassland Land Description: Jelani means strong.If one were to look upon these lands you would see tall grass stretching towards the heavens. A large boulder sits to the east of the territory where there is an even better, more picturesque view. To the west is a small lake with clear water. A lot of prey travel through here, due to the abundance of food. This is a good place to reside, seeing as there is little competition and a striking atmosphere. King:Arieh Queen:TBA
